FS Compliance Monitoring Specialist

About this role

BT has a history of developing exciting new products for customers. We have a unique opportunity to get involved in the newest of these products as we prepare for the launch of a financial services (FS) offer in Consumer associated with our EE brand. We are building a brand new FS Compliance team and are keen to talk to anyone with FS experience who would be interested in being a part of this exciting project. Consumer’s track record for dynamic launches is well known and you have a chance to be involved in it’s latest one!

As Financial Services Compliance Specialist Monitoring, you will play a key role in highlighting the performance of FS controls within the business and advising on required improvement and remediation.

You'll have the following responsibilities

Own tasks related to the FS Compliance monitoring/ assurance approach
Focusing on delivery and associated assignment, completion and effectiveness assurance activities.
Conducting Thematic Reviews to identify gaps in Systems and Controls;
Prepare reporting analysis on FS compliance for relevant governance forums (reviewed by Senior Specialist Monitoring)
Provide advice on the design of first line assurance for FS compliance
Running quantitate and qualitative analysis to understand the first line activities required as a result of new FS compliance requirements 
Provide advice on improvement ideas as a result of gaps in assurance activities conducted by the first line
Providing specialist advice on Monitoring as well as coaching, communications and training events to high risk communities, to enhance first line knowledge of relevant regulatory compliance
You'll have the following skills & experience

Strong planning and organising skills 
Ability to work closely with and partner with the business within a highly complex challenging environment 
Demonstrates expertise drawing from experience to evaluate compliance solutions and provide advice at the highest level in the business 
Must be able to convey FS compliance policies, standards, requirements and similar matters in a way that is risk-focussed impactful and succinct to business audiences at all levels
