Programme Curator | competitive salary + excellent pension and benefits
Working to our newly appointed Destination Director, this role will curate an ambitious programme of events to bring the City’s story to life.
Working collaboratively with a network of commercial sponsors and our partners across the Square Mile, you will help the City raise the bar and become known as a place of “must-do”, bold, exciting, sustainable and inclusive events. Based on data and insights, your artistic programme will encompass sport, wellness, and education, as well as entertainment, food and drink, heritage and culture, and bring in a large, diverse audience, especially at weekends.
You will maintain and build a network of funding and co-delivery partners to realise the ambitions of your programmes, ensuring events and activations deliver increases in visitor numbers, spend and funder expectations.
To succeed in this role, you will have first-class experience of developing an ambitious artistic vision for an organisation, which you have driven to reality. You will have an outstanding reputation for curating and delivering high impact place-marketing or events programmes in support of a world class brand. With sharp commercial acumen, you will have a strong track record in delivering successful audience strategies capable of increasing both footfall and spend.
You will be a natural relationship building and stakeholder manager, able to demonstrate success in growing income through a diverse range of fundraising activities such as corporate and/or major donor donations, and with excellent experience of stewardship.
A strong and confident communicator, you will have excellent inter-personal skills and a highly collaborative nature that brings colleagues at all levels in to your vision.
